Dr. Tammy Costello

For over 21 years Dr. Tammy Costello D.C. has been dedicated to helping patients through Chiropractic treatments.

Dr. Tammy Costello attended Kean University, in Union, NJ. Her undergraduate degree was in psychology and science, but her passion was for Physical Therapy. She volunteered many hours of her time while attending school and working, with the handicap community. Her focus was on rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy.  After learning about the nervous system, she realized that there was more to the rehabilitation, and refocused on internal healing. Dr. Costello proceeded to Life University in Marietta, GA.

While at Life University, Dr. Costello graduated Cum Laude, volunteered with the anatomy department, and tutored students. After graduation she stayed in Georgia to practice and teach full time at Life University. This is where she developed and honed in on her skills to become the best chiropractor possible.

Dr. Costello became a part of the Grand Strand in  2006 by way of “Hot Lanta”… although she loved the Atlanta area, the beach was calling her. She is happily married to Kevin Hales, who works for Coastal Carolina University.

Dr. Costello has furthered her education by working at HGTC teaching courses in anatomy and physiology, medical pathology, muscle nerves and innervations, just to name a few. She has also gotten a certificate that is nationally recognized and is now 1 of 3 chiropractors in Horry County that is certified in extremity adjusting, orthotic production and sports management.

Dr. Tammy Costello is proud to welcome patients to a practice where real caring and compassion combined with education and experience to provide the best in chiropractic care. Her philosophy of service to the patient along with the support of a loyal, knowledgeable staff creates excellence in both patient care and clinical results. Dr. Costello follows her heart along with her skill to aide in the treatment of her patients. This is not a “cookie cutter” office!

Dr. Tammy is currently an active member of SCBE and NBCE.
